More than "something with media"

Do you prefer to impart knowledge through a captivating TV report? You know what is important in the communication of a company? Then you should apply for a journalistic trainee programme at ProSiebenSat.1!

A journalistic trainee programme with us usually lasts 24 months. You will spend 18 months in your home department where you will be responsible for your own projects. During the remaining months you can rotate to other areas of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group and gain new impressions. You can complete a journalistic trainee programme with us in the areas of TV (e.g. Galileo or red!), online (e.g. or, PR (with a focus on entertainment, factual or fiction) or communication (internal or external corporate communication).

The journalistic trainee programme starts with 50 training days. In various workshops you will be optimally prepared for your job. We attach great importance to practical relevance in the training courses we conduct in cooperation with the Bavarian Academy for Television and Digital Media irrelevant of the specific area in which you complete your journalistic trainee programme. All journalistic trainees take part in the training phase and receive an all-round knowledge package about storytelling, interview training, editing, PR and much more. A year later, another 10-day training session informs you about new online tools and trends to keep you up to date.

In addition to the training, you can rotate to other areas for three months during your journalistic traineeship with us. A four-week rotation can also take place externally in Germany or abroad and is financially supported by us.

An HR contact person and a manager from the specialist department support all our Young Talents during their training. Whether technical or organisational issues – colleagues are always ready to listen and to help you with words and deeds.
